I have fairly straight hair that tends to lean towards the wavy side. Because of the waves in my hair, I cannot just get up, run a brush through my hair, and leave the house. The waves in my hair are not consistent and have a messy appearance. The thickness of my hair makes for a very unkempt look – so a ponytail is usually my first choice of styling.
A few years ago I got my first flat iron and I was very pleased with the results. My hair was finally uniform and looked amazing. My first flatiron broke after I dropped it and I replaced it with an inexpensive version that claimed to perform well. All the hair experts out there can tell you that THERE IS A DIFFERENCE between the cheapie flat irons you get in a drugstore and the ones you get from a beauty supply shop. I am no hair expert, but from my own personal experience I can tell you that paying a few extra dollars for a flat iron is definitely worth it.
I had the opportunity to work with Flat Iron Experts and got to review the KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron. I can tell you that out of the five flat irons I have tried, this really is one of the best flat irons I have used. It only takes 30 seconds to heat the iron up to 410 degrees.
The Technology Behind KQC X-Heat
Why Tourmaline? Tourmaline Ceramic Hair Straighteners distribute heat across the entire iron’s surface evenly and retains heat to eliminate hot spots that can damage your hair. Ceramic is a natural source of negative ions which preserves moisture, eliminates frizz, and causes less damage to hair.
