I’m not a fan of many spray air fresheners, cones, or plug ins for a variety of reasons – but the main one is that they do not last as long as they claim, or smell that great after some time. I find that the plug in air fresheners begin to smell like something is burning after a week – when they are suppose to last much longer than that. It was not until I found the Febreze Set & Refresh on sale at my local drugstore last year that I decided to give it a try. I loved the Spring and Renewal scent the best, but the Hawaiin Aloha, and Linen & Sky are my 2nd favorites.
Why do I love Febreze Set & Refresh so much? The scent is strong enough to add some fragrance to a room, but not strong enough that it overpowers or has you choking on the smell. I like that the Set & Refresh fits nicely on top of any surface without taking up too much room. I put one on top of the fish tank in my living room (which is high enough that you can’t even see the air freshener), one on top of a shelf in my toddler’s room (which is also directly on top of her diaper pail) and one in the bathroom on top of the vanity. All these locations are out of sight and cannot be seen by anyone upon entering the room – but the Febreze Set & Refresh are so simply designed so that if they are in sight, they aren’t ugly!
Just recently we had a DIY project in my basement to convert an old dingy area into a fun playroom. After all was said and done, we were left with an adorable playroom for my toddler, but it still smelled like… basement. After bleaching the floor and wiping down the paneling, the smell of a damp basement did not dissipate and something had to be done. I added a Febreze Set & Refresh on each side of the room – it is a very spacious area – and within a day the entire playroom smelled refreshed!
I was excited to join the Febreze Set $ Refresh blogging program because I had a great experience with Febreze and believe in their products. Right now they are the only air freshener I use because they are inexpensive and very effective! Check out the Febreze site to learn more about their entire product line!
