Having play dates with my younger daughter have become more frequent now that my oldest is in full-day school. We both need friends around and having play dates is the easiest way to get everyone together in a safe environment and hope everyone has a good time. Last week, we decided to do something a little different than our typical play dates and host a Halloween theme children’s party. With Halloween themed goodies, and fun costumes, all the kids had a great time playing and learning about new toys from Playskool.
The one toy that got the most action was the Let’s Imagine Elmo toy. Everyone had a great time taking turns and interacting with Elmo when he asked questions. One question he asked was “When I grow up, I imagine I’ll be…” and so many of the answers were adorable coming from the mouths of the children. Thinks like “I imagine I’ll be.. a Princess, a fairy, a pirate, a Ninja Turtle, Elsa” and then more realistic answers like “a teacher, a policeman, a fireman.” I love that Let’s Imagine Elmo fosters imagination and let’s kids think and interact, while also having fun. Let’s Imagine Elmo comes with 3 hats that unlock different play modes, such as Prince, Cowboy, and Sea Captain. Many of the kids loved the Sea Captain theme while Elmo took them on an imaginary journey with music and learning.

Each child went home with a toy of their choice from Stack N’ Spin Monkey Gears (9+ months) to the Transformers Mixable, Mashable Heroes (2+ years.) All the toys mentioned in this post are great to keep in mind this holiday season for children 9 months and up and can be purchased on Amazon, Toys R Us, or wherever Playskool toys are sold. You can find out more about Let’s Imagine Elmo and other toys in the Playskool lineup by visiting on the web.

I would say our party was a success! Both, kids and adults had a great time learning about new toys this holiday season, while dressing up, having fun, and eating yummy treats! The kids had fun putting in their requests to Santa for Let’s Imagine Elmo, while taking home special crafts they made at the party.

What a fun party! I love he decorations and the cupcakes are so cute. I bet the kids really enjoyed this. I love the Elmo doll.
Looks like fun! The Monkey gears toy looks interesting. Will have to look for it for Christmas.
