While everyone else was celebrating the start of summer, my daughter was upset that school was ending for a few months. I’m not sure where she gets that hard work ethic and school dedication from, but I’m happy to not have to wake up when the alarm goes off.
To help ease her into not having a daily routine, we sat down to create a summer bucket list of all the things we hope to do or see in the upcoming weeks. I was able to give her some ideas I knew she would love and would be fun for the whole family- like a visit to the Crayola Factory, and a tour of all the NY Zoos. And for the days it was raining or way too hot to get out, there was trips to the movies.
As a Fandango Family member, we’ve watched more movies in theaters than we had before. This summer, the movie theaters have something to offer for kids and adults. Whether it is an indoor play date at the theater or a night out with the hubby, there are some hits you don’t want to miss. Minions was the first on the kids’ list and who could blame them? We fell in love over and over again with these lovable servants and couldn’t wait to check out the movie. Check out these fun minion themed crafts-

Don’t worry, you won’t find spoilers here, but check out the other movie offerings below, and be sure to head over to Fandango where you can view theaters, show times, purchase tickets, reserve seats, and watch trailers. I personally use the Fandango app, and when you sign up for their free VIP program, you can even change your movie tickets up to two hours before the show. Like that time I accidentally ordered tickets for my hubby and kids on Friday and then invited my niece and nephew along but purchased their tickets for Saturday. Big oops! But Fandango credited my account and I was able to get everyone their tickets together, and reserve seats!
Find out more by visiting Fandango or downloading the app on your smart phone. Check out some of this summer’s movie listings-
