Holiday Travels with Tiny Love {Giveaway}

With baby #2, I find that we are travelling a lot more than we did when we had our first daughter. Not only do I have more time to plan a weekend getaway with  my hubby since I’m a stay at home mom now, but I think we are also much more comfortable travelling with an infant since we “know the ropes” now.

Packing things for my toddler to play with is easy- a handheld electronic toy loaded with new games and her kitty cat comfort toy. My infant is a little trickier. She needs a few more things to keep her attention, as she gets bored and cranky easy. She also needs a place to play since she can’t walk, and cannot be held all the time either.

So much room to play, roll, and learn to crawl!

We had a weekend getaway planned to our beach house, and we brought along the Super Mat from Tiny Love, which is an extra large play mat. She loves to roll and scoot around, so a standard playmat is too short for her and she rolls onto the floor in just one roll. The Tiny Love Super Mat keeps her entertained with a squeaky toy and a mirror, as well as fun crunchy sounds and various textures throughout the mat.  My toddler loves to play on the mat with my infant and teach her the colors and animals, all while making sure her little sister stays on the mat and doesn’t roll off. Along with a playmat, my infant loves her Tiny Love Mobile, but I know my husband isn’t too thrilled about taking EVERYTHING with us during our travels. I often leave my infant in her crib to play, and she puts herself to sleep while watching her friends dance around her mobile. I don’t want to disrupt her routine, so the Tiny Love Take-Along Mobile is great to have while travelling. It attaches to her infant car seat as well as her play pen for on the go entertainment. Her sleep routine has not been disrupted, and she still enjoys lounging in her playpen with a mobile overhead!
