Hot Summer Toys! Plasma Car Review & Giveaway!

Summer days are here and you know what that means? Time to go outside and PLAY!! I remember when I was a kid my favorite toys were ride on toys– from the ones you use your feet to get you moving to the ride ons with pedals. Anything that got me moving was fun! Despite technology and video games more prominent now than during my childhood days, children still love to get out and play, explore, and of course, race each other on ride on toys!

My 7 year old nephew has a bike and a motorized ride-on car, but when I introduced him to the PlasmaCar, he had to have it! The PlasmaCar looks like a futuristic ride on toy and is powered by nothing other than the driver!  You might wonder what makes this space-looking vehicle move when there are no pedals or electricity, but the unique design allows for the rider to get their PlasmaCar moving by shifting their weight on the vehicle. They can use the steering wheel for control, and according to the makers of PlasmaCar, the driver can reach up to 6 mph!

The kids had fun taking turns trying out the PlasmaCar and experimenting with ways to go faster and get moving. I love that the PlasmaCar requires full body movement in order to get it going, so your child not only has fun, but also gets some exercise while playing! I warn you: if you have more than one child, you may need to get a PlasmaCar for each of them because they won’t want to take turns!

The PlasmaCar fits people up to 220 lbs which means even adults can have fun riding on the PlasmaCar! I haven’t had the chance to ride it yet- being pregnant and then recovering from a c-section hasn’t allowed me to demo any of the fun stuff! I promised myself that before the summer is up, I WILL get on that PlasmaCar!! The PlasmaCar is even an iParenting Media Award Winner!   4. My son received this for his birthday last year and he absolutely LOVES it, as he still is having trouble peddling, as he only weighs 30lbs and doesn’t have the power to push himself yet. He can power this effortlessly!
