My infant is quickly growing and OUT-growing a lot of things, including her bouncer, infant car seat, bassinet, and swing. I can’t believe how such useful baby items have a short usage span and it makes me sad for two reasons: one, my baby is quickly growing, and two, I have to buy MORE things! One thing that has not changed is our baby wearing, as a matter of fact we are both loving it!
Since finding out she has a fractured clavicle, I’ve been much more cautious about how she is held, carried, and being overall handled. This includes some temporary lifestyle changes to ensure her comfort and proper healing. When I initially placed her in a wrap-style carrier I had from my previous baby, she was very fussy. She was also too small to put her in a traditional baby carrier, but the Infantino Sync I had was perfect for her. It was the best of both worlds of wrap and traditional carrier, but after a while she was not happy with her head being placed inside the shoulder strap. She still needed head support, so we decided to give the Infantino EcoSash a try. This is another one of Infantino’s fabulous carriers that have multiple features that work with our lifestyle, and most importantly gives her the head support she needs without restricting her.
The Infantino EcoSash gets extra bonus points in my book for growing with baby. I can use this carrier for the next few years, or as long as she will let me carry her in a carrier (or until 35 pounds!) I love that this carrier is so versatile; I can carry baby on my back, front, and also have her facing out. Plus, it’s reversible, so you get two styles in one carrier!
This is our new go-to carrier. My baby and I are both comfortable, she is fully supported, and I have my hands free to hold my toddler’s hand as we go for walks!
You can find out more information, as well as where to purchase the Sync by visiting Infantino, and connecting with them on Facebook and Twitter.
