Now that my whole family is into smoothies, it’s time to get appropriate equipment to make the most delicious and healthy shakes. I tried juicing but felt that the juicer would eliminate some of the good stuff from the fruit, which included the skin and the pulp. After seeing various commercials about the Ninja, I knew it was something I had to try out. It seemed to offer the features I needed the most, which was using the entire fruit or vegetable to make smoothies, without eliminating nutrients. This is especially important for my growing children because sometimes they are super picky, so they need all the nutrients they can get.

The recipe is super easy, I always have a bag of organic frozen berries on hand so I use less ice since the berries are frozen.
Triple Berry Greek Yogurt Smoothie
1 cup mixed frozen berries
7 oz Greek Yogurt
4 oz coconut milk
scoop of ice
Toss them all into the blender and VOILA! You have yourself a super healthy smoothie!
