Parents these days are educating themselves about just about everything that comes in contact with their children. From the paint their children’s toys are adorned with, to the colors included in their vitamins. I love that I am not alone when I say that High Fructose Corn Syrup, genetically modified ingredients, and artificial colors should be banned from all food, let alone food that goes into our developing children. There is a huge fight against the companies that have the money, and the companies that hold the facts, and I’m sure you can see that the person with the fattest wallet always win’s these types of arguments Billions of dollars are spent, people are paid off, and companies win the fight. As you can imagine, many people are left confused with contradicting information regarding their food.

Although one person alone cannot change the way these companies operate, I would love to take note and use her voice to spread the word about why a change needs to be made. This Thursday, 1/17/2013, there will be a Miss America Twitter party at  5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM EST and I would love if you joined me in telling Miss American why this cause is so important.
