When it comes to diapers, I’ve tried them all. I started with the brand the hospital used, moved on to generic, store-brand diapers, I’ve even cloth diapered for some time. I tried so many different brands because I wasn’t happy with the fit of my first baby’s diapers, as well as problems with diaper rash. It wasn’t until her pediatrician told me that he had many moms who used the same diapers complain about bad diaper rash, with no history of rash before. It was time to find new diapers.. NOW. A friend recommended Huggies, and then I saw a commercial which showed how Huggies had a different shape from other brands. I decided to give them a try, and I haven’t looked back since. We’ve had no issues with diaper rash, fit problems, or leaking after making the switch to Huggies.
My first baby was a Huggies baby after all that trial and error. Even when she was potty training we used Huggies Pull Ups because we knew Huggies worked great for her. When baby #2 came, it was a no-brainer. My closets were full of Huggies newborn, size 1 and 2. I didn’t realize that my little bundle would grow so quickly and be in a size 3 within a matter of months. I started her off with Huggies Little Snugglers for the first few weeks, until her umbilical cord fell off, and since then she has been in Huggies Snug and Dry. I have to be honest- the first time I tried Huggies Snug and Dry, I wasn’t too sure about them (this was with my first baby.) After she spent an entire night in Huggies Snug and Dry diapers, I was sold. Before this, I was purchasing Huggies Overnight diapers for her because she was a heavy wetter, and when I realized that Huggies Snug and Dry would do the trick without spending extra on overnight diapers, I was sold!
The best way I could describe Huggies Snug and Dry is to tell you that the Snug and Dry are the most basic diaper, with great features. Yes, a diaper HAS to have specific features for it to work properly. Huggies are the most elastic diaper out there, making me believe they fit a larger variety of babies. Remember: just as adults are all shaped differently, so are babies. Which means one diaper may no work for all babies. With super-elasticized tabs and gussets, Huggies should fit comfortably.
Let’s not forget friendly faces. At some point, my oldest baby decided to hand pick all her diapers. This was right before she was potty trained. Her Huggies featured Mickey and Minnie, and she would only wear the Minnie Mouse diapers. I don’t have that issue with my youngest baby, yet, but it’s great that they can connect with the characters on their diapers!
Most importantly, Huggies Snug and Dry work. They are also economical and affordable. Walmart currently has the Super Pack on a Rollback price, so depending on what size you get, you can spend less than .20 a diaper! Couple that deal with a coupon at the store, and you can score a great deal!
I’ve ordered two boxes of Huggies Snug and Dry from Walmart at the Rollback price and as soon as they come in, I will be dropping them off at a local woman’s shelter. I feel that Huggies Snug and Dry diapers are at a great price point, and are very reliable, that I wanted to share them with people who may need them, especially with the holiday season upon us.
So, if you haven’t tried Huggies yet, be sure to check them out at an awesome price at Walmart!

Huggies and Pampers are the only two brands I will buy. It’s just not worth the leaks to pay less for any other brands.
