It seems that people that are in their 20’s are not taken as seriously as someone in their 40’s when it comes to business ventures. I’m not sure why that is. Cory and Summer Bullock are living proof that the words “young” and “successful” can be used in the same sentence. Cory and Summer started their first Kiddie Academy franchise in Texas in the summer of 2008. They are the youngest business owners in the Kiddie Academy community.
Cory and Summer knew they wanted to start a franchise business but didn’t know exactly which one they wanted to be part of. After months of extensive research, they came across Kiddie Academy, requested information, and were on their way to a new venture. Their main goal? To be successful, ethical, and run a business where children were taken care of.
How were they going to brand themselves among the many day care centers that were already out there and established? They had to prove to their community that Kiddie Academy was not a typical day care. How is success measured in Kiddie Academy? Cory and Summer are able to maintain high enrollment numbers and have created a resource for parents that is both respectable and personal.
Cory and Summer are now looking into expanding their academy and will hopefully be opening another location in the future.
