If you’ve been following my blog for a while, then you know that I have had such a hard time finding the perfect diaper bag. Right before my daughter was born, I decided against diaper bags and used a regular oversized purse for all her necessities when we were out. I found that nothing really held everything I needed and it definitely did not keep the items organized.
Just as I started to lessen the load in my bag since my little girl was growing up and needed less things to go along with us, she started these awful bouts of vomiting in the car. This meant that I had to start carrying around two sets of clothing and washcloths for those “just in case” moments – along with her diapers, snacks, drink, and of course, her 3 favorite stuffed animals that she cannot go anywhere without. As I was on my search for yet another diaper bag, I was a little discouraged at the diaper bag patterns, and the price of regular oversized bags.
When I was asked to review the Kokopax Diaper bag I quickly agreed, knowing that this may be a great answer for my travel issues. I was familiar with the brand, but I had never seen a Kokopax diaper in person. I was impressed with the patterns as they do not scream out “this bag is being carried for a baby and may potentially have a dirty diaper in it!” It seemed like a regular stylish bag that can be toted around whether you have a baby or not.
Out of all the diaper bags I have tried, and I’ve tried out A LOT, I think I found my match. The Samantha Diaper bag is functional for me. I can carry around a full day’s worth of diapers, wipes, snacks, a drink, my wallet, and now – even my big Nikon camera! Everything fits! I love that the shoulder straps are flat, so there is a comfortable fit on my shoulder. I feel that no matter how much I carry in this bag, it never feels bulky or heavy. I’ve actually gotten many compliments on this bag from family members and mommy friends.

Does this bag have stroller straps? If not, were you able to use something to compensate for that?
No, it does not have stroller straps – I just put it on the bottom of the stroller. You can also get those stroller hooks, I’ve seen them at the baby stores, and you can attach the bag to the hooks if that works.
