Looking through the holiday lists this year, I can tell you I spot a lot of great toys that I know kids will love this season. I personally love the toys that I know the kids will get a ton of use out of, bonus points if all three of my kids can play together. Have an 8, 5, and 2 year old, there aren’t many toys that appeal to all three of them at the same time, but I know when it comes to the bigger toys, like the Little Tikes offerings, they will be a big hit.
Something for Everyone
The Little Tikes 2 in 1 Food Truck was something different than the traditional play kitchen. It offers distinct features like running a little shop, driving a food truck, and cooking up food that customers order. A mini kitchen, complete with refrigerator, microwave, and sink are included, along with a register and stand for customers to place their orders. Just like a real food truck, the chef can write down orders and hang them on the stand to make sure all orders are filled properly. Food truck fare is included in this set, like hot dogs, hamburgers and even ice cream! The board on top of the food truck can be used on one side for food and be turned to the other side if your kids want to be an ice cream truck instead.
All three of my kids thoroughly enjoy this play truck, even at their vast age differences. It offers something for each of them, and I personally love the cooperative play that comes out of having the Little Tikes Food Truck in our playroom.
It’s All in the Details
There’s no detail left unturned in the Little Tikes 2-in-1 Food Truck. There’s even a horn to get customers’ attention! As a parent, it’s the little details that really tickle me, like the awning overhanging the food truck, the details in the stickers placed around the truck, the bell to ring when the food is done, and the ability to pack so many features in one toy. Kids can even write their specials of the day on the included chalk-board in front of the food truck. Such attention to detail is something we love in all Little Tikes products.
Where is Little Tikes 2-in-1 Food Truck sold?
Retailing at about $160, you can pick up your food truck from most toy retailers, but I generally use our affiliates at Amazon for most of my holiday needs. Just keep in mind, this will ship in its own box which has an image of the toy on the outside. Be sure to keep kids inside when you greet your delivery person so as not to spoil their surprise!
