Living Happy and Healthy in NYC! #DRHappyandhealthy #CBias #cbBigapple

I feel like I’m always at Duane Reade. Whether it is for toilet paper or a prescription, they are usually my one stop shop for so many things! I can usually get most of my shopping list done at Duane Reade, and since  there are so many of them around NYC, they are conveniently located! Speaking of prescriptions, I had to get one filled for my toddler. I use to go to another local pharmacy which made me wait anywhere from a few hours to a few days for my scripts. Who has time like that when you have a sick baby? Not I! So, I crossed the street into the brightest, cleanest, and most organized drugstore, and haven’t turned back since. Duane Reade is my neighborhood drugstore and has my prescriptions ready in about 5 minutes. That’s the service I expect when I have a sick baby.

Now, if you know me, then you know I rarely go shopping without a list. I dropped off my tot’s script and checked out the Happy and Healthy circular in the store. I took a quick peek to see what they had and was happy to find out about Ology products. I’ve never heard of these products before, and am always on the hunt for great chemical free products for my home and family, so I was intrigued. I had to learn more!

It turns out, Ology products are endorsed by Healthy Child Healthy World and don’t contain anything on the top 10 No-No Ingredient list: ammonia, chlorine bleach, DEA, TEA, Parabens, Phthalates, Formaldehyde, Nonylphenol, ethoxylates, Triclosan, SLS/SLES, and of course, artificial dyes or fragrances. They got me at “no parabens!” Since I was pregnant with my first baby, I was set on never having these chemicals near my family ever again! Duane Reade makes it easy to keep my family safe with great  products and great prices. Ology has just about everything for your home and family, including toilet paper, household cleaners, laundry detergent/softener, tissues, baby toiletries and adult toiletries. I’m happy I found out about them, because we are now Ology customers!

The #DRHappyandhealthy book not only has some great deals, but it also has advice, common questions and answers, and even celebrity interviews! The current circular has travel tips from Dr. Oz, an introduction to Ology products, diabetes advice and cooking tips from Paula Deen, and an interview with Halle Berry. I love that it is a circular with deals you can find at your local Walgreens or DuaneReade, as well as a magazine all in one!
