My little girl recently got into arts and crafts and she loves creating things, ruining them, and then trying again. I’m always looking for new ways to keep her little hands busy and her creativity flowing.
Moon Dough is soft and pliable – easy to mold by chubby little hands. It never dries out which is a HUGE plus because most moms can tell you that kids rarely clean up after themselves and you will find pieces of Moon Dough behind the couch or under the bed.
Moon Dough crumbles easy, but is also easy to clean up. By taking a bigger chunk of Moon Dough, you can clean up the smaller pieces by blotting them together. Moon Dough doesn’t adhere to carpet and is a super easy cleanup with the vacuum if it does get into the fibers.
Moon Dough is most suitable for children 3 and up, but my little girl is not even 2 yet and had a blast creating animals out of Moon Dough.
Here is our first Moon Dough creation:
The Magic Zoo required a little adult assembly. I helped my little girl put the dough in the “cage” and attach the feet to the bottom. She cranked it all by herself and at the end, out walked her creation – all on it’s own! She was a little scared at first but then got really excited when she realized it was a little bear!
We had a great time creating animals out of Moon Dough in the Magic Zoo! You can connect with Moon Dough on Facebook to stay updated on their latest creations!
