Living in NYC, my little girl basically lives in her stroller. We are always on the go and travelling to new adventures across this busy town. I have already gone through two strollers that just couldn’t survive the wear and tear and a growing toddler. To be totally honest, when I purchased her first stroller, I really thought it would have made it through all of my babies. Now I see that spending a little more money on a stroller is necessary if you want to get many years of use and durability out of it.
I recently had the opportunity to review the Mutsy 4rider Light stroller and I have been blown away by the craftsmanship of this stroller. It is the Fararri of strollers and rides like a dream! My toddler, who NEVER sleeps in her stroller (which I always thought was due to the fact that she was just nosy) has fallen asleep quite a few times in her new Mutsy.
The Mutsy is very versatile. It grows with your baby and has a few different seats that accommodate various stages of baby-hood. At this point, it was not necessary for me to purchase the bassinet attachment, but for my future babies this will definitely come in handy. I do believe that this stroller is durable enough to last through ALL my babies (I plan to have a litter of them one day.) This is a great SOLID stroller built to last. (Plus, you can make it into a double stroller with their duo stroller attachment!)
I am a little taller than average for a female, and my hubby is even taller, so the adjustable handle works out great for us. This is one thing I didn’t like about my old stroller, I always felt hunched over when I would push it around, meanwhile my husband refused to push it at all! He found it to be very uncomfortable. This is a feature I never took into consideration when I was looking into our first stroller.
Here are some details on the stroller:
- Full seat recline and adjustable leg rest makes it ideal for use from birth
- Reversible seat and adjustable seat depth to ensure proper seating for babies of all sizes
- One hand adjustable handle bar accommodates even the tallest parents
- 12″rear and 10″front EVA foam tires provide an exceptionally comfortable ride on any terrain
- Easy to fold without removing the seat
There is an optional shopping basket that you can purchase for your Mutsy. It already comes with one, but for an outing like a picnic in Central Park, I would recommend getting a bigger shopping basket for all the extras that you don’t want to carry.
Mutsy has an entire product line of strollers, depending on what you are looking for. The 4Rider Light fits our lifestyle the best, but if you are looking for a bigger stroller, they offer the 4 Rider. The Transporter is a more compact version, but still looks VERY roomy!
I couldn’t review this all on my own and not get some input from my circle of moms. I planned a playdate in the park with them and let them all test drive this stroller. One mom asked if I would be willing to lend it for a certain period of time so that each mom can actually test drive it at various locations, as well as fold it up in their cars to see if it was a good stroller for them. I agreed and came up with easy rules: if they broke it, they would have to replace it; if they dirtied it, they would have to clean it. I gave them the option of 3, 5, or 7 days with the stoller and so far 3 moms have already taken it for a test drive and they ALL loved it! They compared it with their existing strollers and one friend stated that there is no comparison. After trying the Mutsy she wants one for her next baby (she is due in November, so she has already told her hubby she NEEDS one!)
If you are in the market for a stroller and are looking for a solid stroller that will last for years, look into a Mutsy stroller. I wish I knew about this stroller when I was pregnant, I would have saved a lot of money buy purchasing ONE GOOD stroller! Check out this video to learn more about the Mutsy 4Rider Light
Disclosure: I received the Mutsy 4Rider Light free of charge. All opinions are my own and 100% honest. I love this stroller!
That is one awesome stroller. My friend has one of those for her baby and she said it’s better than anything else she’s used.
This sounds like a great stroller! I currently juggle 3 different strollers with two kids.
Looks like a really nice stroller.
Wow, what a gorgeous and versatile stroller!
Wow, I am impressed with this beauty. On the click through their prices are not out hand either.
Strollers like this make me miss when my daughter was a little baby! If I ever have another baby I’ll definitely get one like this!
That is a neat stroller! I always like the look of it when I see it out and about.
