On the go fun with Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World for Nintendo 3DS

I finally had some time to wrestle the Nintendo 3DS away from my daughter’s hands so I can check out Yoshi’s Woolly World featuring Poochy. Yes, I should have been cleaning dishes, picking up crayons from the floor, or perhaps preparing a meal, but even mama needs a time out and what better way to unwind than with a Nintendo game and warm coffee!? Before I go into the 3DS version of Yoshi’s Woolly World, I want to tell you that my family loves the Wii U version and we can play with up to 4 players, although it’s usually just me and my 2 daughters playing together. Friday is usually our family fun nights and when we aren’t entertaining friends, we are playing together as a family. Teamwork helps in Yoshi’s Woolly World to help find all the missing yarn to create new Yoshi friends.

The 3DS version of Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World is very similar to the Wii U version in terms of goals and game play. But when you use the included Poochy amiibo, there are some notable differences. Like having little Poochy Pups follow you around instead of collecting yarn balls. They help grab unreachable items and open up prizes. They even clobber bad guys. Poochy isn’t too far behind and can offer and extra push when you try to reach or climb, collects coins, and gives you a ride.
