If you haven’t seen it yet, then on June 11, 2013 Oz the Great and Powerful will be released to DVD/BluRay! I missed my chance to see it in the theaters, but now that I finally got my hands on a copy, I can tell you this is a movie you don’t want to miss! I’m not going to give away too much info, Oz the Great and Powerful takes you on an adventure to a time before The Wizard of Oz where a magician finds his role in the Land of Oz.

We still see some familiar faces from The Wizard of Oz such as the good and evil witches, but you will have to watch the movie to find out more! Without giving away too much, I can tell you that Oscar (the main character) goes on a journey to find himself! If you already saw the movie, the BluRay/DVD copy of Oz, the Great and Powerful is feature-packed with things you will never see in the theaters, such as bloopers, behind the scenes, and so much more!

  11. We saw it in the theater and absolutely loved it. Having movie night complete with pajamas and popcorn and blankets on the floor is something we LOVE to do! This would be perfect!

  50. Born and raised in Kansas, we get all the jokes! This is one remake I haven’t seen yet, mostly because I didn’t have the opportunity since I stay with my toddler all the time. I almost took him to one theater that had a cryroom, but backed out.
