Pinkalicious Games Review and Giveaway

My toddler is not yet into board games and I cannot wait until she is. My oldest niece, however, is at a great age where we can play board games  and interact, spending some great quality time together. I love board games because I feel that it reinforces behavior that you want your child to learn, such as building self esteem by finding something they are good at, as well as learning the value that it is okay to lose a game. I had the opportunity to work with Fundex Games and received the Silverlicious Sweet Tooth Game (4+) and Pinkalicious Scrabble Junior(5+) to review. My niece is about to turn 7, so she is at a great age for both games. The games are based on the bestselling Pinkalicious book series. I have not personally read them, but I have heard of Pinkalicious in passing from friends and advertisements I have seen.

Silverlicious Sweet Tooth reminded me of Candyland, in the way the board is set up. Pinkalicious loses her sweet tooth and you have to help her get it back. All players work together to complete fun challenges and  follow the yellow road. I love that in this game, children (and adults) need to work together – definitely a different type of board game!

Have a little girl that loves everything pink? This version of Pinkalicious Scrabble is VERY pink and very versatile! Do you have a child that already knows how to spell? The two sided board has an open grid where kids can create their own words. For children just learning how to spell, flip over the game board and match the letter tiles to the words that are already there. Fun for everyone in the family!
