Play Doh is an ageless trend that kids and adults enjoy! My little girl got her first Play Doh set for Christmas, but she didn’t really get into it until recently. Now, she plays with her Play Doh so much, she even has a table designated just for Play Doh and all the accessories we have accumulated for shaping and designing. It is not unusual for her to wake up in the morning and ask to play with her Play Doh before she is even out of bed!
We love Play Doh so much, that for her second birthday, everyone is walking away with a duffle bag full of Play Doh and accessories (No, this was NOT sponsored!). As part of the August Birthday Bash, Play Doh has sent me 3 playsets to review! Here is what I had to say about them:
PLAY-DOH FLIP ‘N SERVE BREAKFAST Playset – My nephew is a 4 year old, self proclaimed foodie. He loves anything that has to dowith food and I knew that this would be the perfect play set for him. He spends a lot of time with us, so I let him test drive this set. The Flip ‘N Serve Breakfast set has a waffle and pancake maker, a griddle for eggs and a fountain for smoothies. There are molds throughout the play set where children (and adults) can make extra, such as bacon ans strawberries. My nephews favorite part was making smoothies and adding “whipped cream” on top.
PLAY-DOH COOKIE MONSTER’S LETTER LUNCH Playset – This is my toddler’s favorite Play Doh Accessory. She loves feeding Cookie Monster his letter alphabet and watching him devour anything she puts in his mouth. I love that this set also encourages healthy
eating habits since the molds are veggies and fruits. So, not only do you have Cookie Monster, 26 letters, eating utensils and 4 cans of Play Doh, but you also have mini molds to make food! Not bad for only $16.99! After she is done, all the letters store neatly in his salad bowl, until his next meal! Don’t worry, if you are an Cookie Monster oldie like me, you can still make him cookies too- there are molds for those!
PLAY-DOH SMASHED POTATOES Game – My 6 (going on 16) niece tested out this play set. The point of the game is to make it out of the kitchen before getting smashed (hence then name, Smashed Potatoes.) This game is most suitable for children 5 and up, so we played together while the toddlers enjoyed their other play sets.
You can win all three of these fun play sets! Simply fill out the easy rafflecopter form below!
Disclosure: Giveaway ends on 8/22/2011. I received complimentary items to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own
