The Pokemon craze is in full effect and it won’t be long before kids are asking for Pokemon Birthday Parties. Here’s a fun recipe you can do with the kids to make Pikachu Cookies, but be sure to plan ahead because they take time to make, including overnight refrigeration. Your kids will love these fun Pokemon cookies

- 4 Egg Whites
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- red, gold, yellow, black food coloring

- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl mixing on medium speed for 4 minutes. (except your food coloring) -If icing is not stiff enough add 1/4 C powder sugar. -Divide the icing into 4 equal bowls. -The first bowl of icing remains black. -The second bowl of icing, add several drops of golden yellow gel food coloring. Stir to mix. -The third bowl of icing, add several drops of red. -The fourth bowl of icing remains white. -Spoon each color of icing into individual frosting bags with a #2 tips. Twist the open end of the bag to push the icing to the tip. -Squeeze the majority of the white icing into a bowl then add 1 tsp of water to this icing and stir to mix the water and icing together. -Using the white piping bag, pipe a yellow line around the edge of the circle cookie. -Fill in with the thin yellow icing. -Let stand for 1 hour -Pipe on the line for Picachu's mouth -Add the red dots -Add the black for the eyes and a white dot on top of the black -Let dry for another 4 hours before bagging or enjoying.
