It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, seriously! I love this time of year. I love the excitement of the season, the parties, the kids, the food, the get-togethers, and of course, seeing Santa! We take the kids every year to see the man in red, and each year we wonder how much longer they will want a special visit with him. While my kids love Santa, something happens when they finally see him- maybe it’s stage fright, perhaps they fear the consequences of their actions all year long, but a picture with Santa just never seems to pan out the way I hope. So, instead of hyping up just the picture with Santa, we take them to where there’s so much more than JUST a picture.
When you enter , you are greeted by elves who take you on a journey through a Christmas Wonderland. Not only does it get everyone in the family in the spirit for the holidays, but it also serves as a great way to keep everyone occupied while you wait for your turn to see Santa! First, you stand on a platform that knows your name and shows you where you fall on the naughty or nice list. Here’s a little spoiler- they all make the nice list!
After children see their name on the nice list, they walk through the where they learn about the elves and the process they go through to become an elf. This is a fully interactive set every step of the way, and children just LOVE it. Finally, it’s time to see the big guy and take a picture!
The kids had fun at Santa HQ, as always! You still have time to visit Santa HQ. Find a near you!
