If you do laundry, then you know how frustrating getting stains out can be. Kid’s don’t often think twice about permanently staining their clothes, and they also don’t understand why they can’t wear their favorite outfit again after it’s been stained. I can’t prevent stains from happening in my home, but I can use OxiClean to get the stains out.
The first time I heard of OxiClean was on an infomercial over 10 years ago. My mom believed everything she saw on the infomercial and was eager to buy the set of products and try them out. I’m glad she bought into the hype, because from that point on we were all believers in OxiClean and the powerful cleaning it provided without ruining clothes. More specifically, I would use it on the carpet to cover up stains from my spiteful cat before my mom would notice.
One tip I have for getting stains out is to make a paste with OxiClean and letting it sit on the stain for about 10 minutes, then throw the stained clothing in with the wash. Voila! The stain is gone!
Now that I am a mom, I use the power of OxiClean to keep our clothing clean and to get rid of stains. OxiClean has evolved a little, with new scents and products, but the powerful cleaning is still the same. We use OxiClean Laundry Detergent in every wash. When I clean towels or an all-white load of laundry, OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover keeps my whites white without using chlorine. It is used along with my regular detergent and provides a little extra cleaning power.
When it comes to cleaning the dishes, I’m still learning how to effectively use a dishwasher. I have owned a dishwasher for only 4 months, and hadn’t really strayed from my comfort zone of products I thought were good. The first week of cleaning was perfect, and then something started happening- My dishes weren’t getting as clean, my glasses had spots all over, and my dishwasher was still new. I didn’t have high expectations with new detergents, although I should have realized OxiClean was the answer to my dishwashing issues, since I praised it when it came to laundry. After just one use and a very full dishwasher, I was sold. OxiClean Power Crystals powered through the grime, stuck on food, and left me with clean dishes and clear glasses. Why didn’t I try this stuff sooner?
