A few months ago I found myself in a hormonal induced dilemma- how was I going to keep my 3 year old troublemaker contained in a stroller along with an infant? Sure, a double stroller seems like an easy solution but then we started taking our car trunk dimensions into consideration and the situation turned out to be very stressful. I wanted to keep our newest member in his car seat if he was sleeping, and give my toddler a place to rest (or be strapped down when necessary.)
I already have two double strollers that just won’t work for our situation. One won’t accommodate an infant car seat and the other is too big to fit into my trunk when all 3 rows of seats are being used. Aside from that, I would have to purchase an extra piece to fit the car seat we have, spending an extra $60 for short term use. So my hubby and I set out to find a solution. We did a few days of research, arguing, and even went to our local BuyBuyBaby to see what our options were. In every instance, Joovy came up. The Joovy Caboose Ultralight Too was a runner up along with the VaryLight, so our decision came down to dimensions. The Ultralight Too was inches shorter when folded and turned out to be the winner. Along with size, the amount of options was the ultimate selling point for us. While my sleeping infant can be moved from car to stroller without being disturbed, either of my girls can ride or sit in the back of the stroller. This makes for easier to manage zoo trips, along with other excursions in NYC. For a more comfortable backseat ride, there is an included seat that can be attached for my toddler if she wants to relax and perhaps take a nap. I’m just happy to have a place for her to sit or stand where I can keep an eye on her- she has been known to cause chaos in her steps.
It was time to put the stroller to the test. Little brother isn’t here yet, but his big sisters were more than willing to help test out the new stroller. The Joovy Caboose Ultralight Too accommodates our Chicco KeyFit 30 without needing to purchase extra accessories. Everything is included right in the box which makes my life so much easier! The safety harness to keep the car seat secure tucks away in side pockets, so while they are easily accessible, they are also neatly stored when not in use. Our infant won’t stay little for long, and by next year we can ditch the car seat adapter and place him right into the stroller seat.
The Joovy Caboose Ultralight Too comes with a plethora of accessories you normally wouldn’t find standard in most strollers. A snack tray for the front seat, an infant car seat adapter, optional second seat, a large storage basket, and parent organizer are all standard options for this stroller. When added up for my previous double stroller, these accessories easily cost over $200, making the Joovy Cabooss Ultralight Too an economical option at $300 and a smart long term stroller investment. The weather is just starting to get better here in NYC, but by the summer time we will be taking more trips as a family of 5. You can follow me on Instagram to see our summertime excursions which will be sure to include how the Joovy UltraLight Too simplifies our trips. You can also check out Joovy on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see their other products in use and find out what others are saying.

This stroller looks perfect for toting multiple kids around. I love different options for settings it offers, great find!
What an awesome stroller! My boys are too far apart in age to ever have been able to use this but man, would it have been nice if I could have! I imagine this makes keeping up with multiple young kids much easier not to mention limits the complaints!
Wow, that’s a nice stroller! Looks like every consideration they could imagine, they’ve added. I really like it.

I love all the seating options with the Joovy Caboose Ultralight! It would be great for my newborn to ride in his infant carseat while my 3 year old sat in the back.
This would be perfect for my two young grandsons! One loves to sit and one loves to stand. I love the different configurations!
I love that this is a sit and stand style that my 5 year old could also use. This has a lot of great features. Going to look into this brand when we need another stroller!
This stroller looks perfect if you have kids of different ages. Especially if one is big enough to be independent but still small enough that they get tired and need a ride.
This is a very good lightweight stroller that would be great to take this summer on vacation and to all the places that we visit over the Summer months. I like that this stroller is good for kids of different ages!
Being a dad with 5 kids, I could have used this many times over, incredibly nice
