We all know how much kids love Peppa Pig, but now there’s an even bigger reason to love the witty pink pig. The Muddy Puddles Project is a fundraising platform for the Ty Louis Campbell (TLC) Foundation, a certified 501(c)(3) that funds pediatric cancer research. The project was inspired by Ty, a little boy who loved Peppa Pig and dreamed of jumping in muddy puddles when his cancer was cured. Since his passing, the Muddy Puddles Project continues to grow by leaps and bounds with families all across the U.S. joining the mission and participating in special fundraising activities.
April marks the beginning of a whole season of special events – including Peppa-inspired Welly Walks to benefit the charity.
What is a Welly Walk? It’s as simple as it sounds: an organized stroll outside – rain or shine! – in your favorite pair of wellies (rain boots). As Peppa Pig’s Mummy Pig wisely says, “If you jump in muddy puddles, you must wear your boots.”
And to help families everywhere get in on the “fun”-draising and host their own Welly Walk, attached please find a special Peppa Pig Welly Walk Kit that includes everything parents, kids and community leaders need to host a successful and memorable walk of their own!
You can also find more information about the Foundation and download the Peppa Pig Welly Walk Kit on the official Peppa Pig website: http://www.peppapig.com/grown-ups/charity
The Muddy Puddles Project celebrates kids being kids and all the silly and fun aspects that come along with it to honor all kids who are battling cancer and unable to enjoy such simple childhood pleasures.
