This past weekend I attended some fun events and parties during BlogHer. I even got to check out the screening for The Odd Life of Timothy Green and a special preview of the latest Tinkerbell: Secret of the Wings.
When I first heard of The Odd Life of Timothy Green, I didn’t know what to expect. Once I saw previews I had an idea of what the movie was about, but nothing really prepared me for the heartwarming story of a couple who were not able to conceive. Prayers, hopes, wishes, and a little bit of magic goes a long way in this film, as this family finally gets what they always wanted: a little boy of their own!
The movie takes a few interesting turns and has a very touching ending, which I won’t be sharing with you- you have to go see it for yourself! What I can tell you is that the movie is about a little boy who touches and inspires everyone he meets, while his parents question their ability to raise “the perfect child.” This is a great family film but may leave little ones questioning “so THAT’S where babies come from?” Once you see it, you will know what I mean! The Odd Life of Timothy Green will be in theaters on August 15, 2012.
Meanwhile, in fairy news, Tinkerbell finds out she has a twin sister in Tinkerbell: Secret of the Wings, Yes, Tinkerbell has a sister! How? You may ask.. When two fairies are born of the same first laugh, then they are twins! That’s all I’m telling you! To find out more, pick up your copy as soon as it’s available. You can preorder Tinkerbell: Secret of the Wings for $10 off at Amazon! The movie will be available October 23, 2012, and this pricing is only good unti then. After it is released, the price goes up to $30.
Disclosure: I received complimentary admission to see the movie. All opinions are my own
