This coming February my husband and I are planning to take our family on a road trip down the east coast. We will be renting a car for this trip and have so many options to choose from, I was a little overwhelmed at first. After thinking of our family’s needs, and crazy fuel prices, I decided a crossover vehicle would be best for us.
One of the cars at the top of my list is the Kia Sorento. Since this is a car I am considering as a next purchase, I think a mini road trip to try out the car would give us a real feel fir the car and how it handles. I already know I love the features that Kia has to offer, and the price tag is pretty good too!
When I compared my current vehicle to the Kia Sorento, I noticed that the Kia did much better on gas, and even had a slightly higher safety rating than my current car. I guess the only reason I didn’t purchase a Kia as our family car a few year ago was because I was naive to the big name brand that my current vehicle offered. Along with a designer name, my current car has also received about five major recalls in the past 4 years. Not something I thought would be an issue when I signed over a very big check to the dealer. Oh, and since we are on the topic of price, the Kia, fully loaded, is about the same and maybe even a bit cheaper than my big name base model vehicle.

I can’t wait to take a ride in the Kia Sorento. I’m really hoping that our rental car company has some in stock! I think the Kia would be a perfect car for our upcoming road trip!
