It’s been a week since I started using Cascade Platinum, and I also gave my mom a few packs to try out herself. In my last post, I told you that although she had a dishwasher, she preferred to hand wash her dishes because she felt that the dishwasher was not efficient in cleaning. She didn’t like that she would have to prewash her dishes before they ended up in the dishwasher, and then if they did get clean, she was left with a film or spots and streaks on her glasses. Personally, I am just happy to finally have a dishwasher and wouldn’t complain much about any of the downfalls of using one at the moment!
Previously my mom was using a liquid cleaner that looked ancient, and swapped it out for a few days with Cascade Platinum. I think she liked it, because just yesterday she asked me if I had any more Cascade Platinum to give her. I guess we have a winner, and she’s a tough one to please! Since I’m new to the world of dishwashers, I have only tried Cascade Pacs and have been very happy with Cascade Platinum Pacs. Both products work similarly and I have not had any issues with food left on the plates after washing or experienced streaks or water spots. I love using discs but haven’t tried to new CAscade yet. I still have a huge box of old Cascade to use up first.
I’ve always used Cascade, there’s just no other detergent that measures up. And is it odd I am loving the colors of the actual detergent lol
The dishwasher I currently have I can only use Finish Quantum, but the house we just bought has a different brand and model, so I’m interested in trying out some different detergents in it, this one looks promising!

If your mom was asking for more that’s a good sign! Sweet T would love the pretty colors. She gets to put the soap in the dishwasher and our regular Cascade is her favorite because it’s pretty. LOL.
