There are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to the term “green.” There is also a lot of confusion amongst those who do not care to live a greener lifestyle and can be hyper-critical against those who do. I don’t claim to be a green guru, but I have made a lot of changes since I had my little girl. Along with going green is saving money. I have found that my “greener” tendencies have allowed me to splurge on other things in life, for example, cloth diapering. I was spending at least $50 a month on disposable diapers, if not more. That extra money that I have from saving diapers has allowed us to have a date night once a month! (Now, about finding that babysitter!)
Clorox is a trusted name in household cleaning, and while I can never give up my bleach in the bathtub, I can choose to use greener products in other parts of the house. Green Works is a refreshing addition to the Clorox family which includes cleaning wipes, laundry detergent, bathroom cleaner, all purpose cleaner, and more. I had previously used the Green Works oxi stain remover in my laundry and was very happy with the results. Check out what I think of their other products:
The Green Works Cleaning Wipes are great! I keep a container in the playroom at all times. Although we do not compost here in NYC, the cleaning wipes are 100% compostable, so they will eventually disintegrate in a landfill. I always wait until the moisture has evaporated from the toys before I let my toddler touch them, but it feels good knowing there is a better alternative in the playroom area than other wipes that contain harsher chemicals.

I always have something to clean; having 3 kids and one on the way also 2 dogs – I need all the help I can get. Would love to try this.
