The idea of a robotic vacuum seemed silly to me when companies started launching them. I mean, how effective could they possibly be, and how easy would it be to miss spots? With a baby in the house and two older girls who seem to drop 80% of their food on the floor in the form of crumbs, I needed something that would be my special little helper. That’s when we brought Bob into our home and set him up in our large living room. This room shares a wall with the kitchen island, where the girls sit to eat- so most of the crumbs and small food particles end up on this side of the living room. This is also the same room my little guy spends most of his time playing, so a clean floor is important to ensure my toddler doesn’t put things in his mouth that are leftover from the girls. BobOSweep comes out when I need him and cleans up the mess in a breeze. When the battery starts getting low, Bob sends himself to the charging station where he energizes and comes back out when he’s ready.

Since Bob is effective on picking up crumbs left behind from kids, I wanted to see how well it would work picking up after my mom’s perpetually shedding cat. The cat doesn’t have long hair but she is older and has been losing her fur in clumps. Knowing how some vacuums can get fur tangled in the bristles, I didn’t expect a robotic vacuum to stand up to the test. To our surprise after leaving Bob there all day, not only was the floor free of cat fur, but it was easy to clean Bob and not have strands of tangled fur caught in the machine. BobOSweep is a full-featured robotic vacuum that can be customized to your needs. It even includes a HEPA air filter to trap allergens and small particles.

You can say we are robotic vacuum converts. I love having Bob around to keep our floors tidy. My kids have learned to stay out of Bob’s way when he’s working his magic. You can get your BobOSweep from Amazon. I’m sure this is one hot item on many people’s wishlist this year!
