We’ve gotten quite comfortable traveling by car with our three kids 7 and under. We always make it a point to be in a family friendly area that offers late access to drug stores if someone gets sick, a variety of meal options for our pickiest eaters, and stores where we can pick up our last minute essentials. We have it down to a science at this point, but when it comes to traveling by plane a lot more thought has to be put into it. Do we need a double or single stroller? When that last question came up, my husband immediately answered that traveling by plane just isn’t for our family right now. All kids are in car seats and to take three car seats with us will be more of a headache than what it’s worth.
