When Jake and the Neverland Pirates first aired on Disney Junior (on daily 8:30-9am EST/PST) almost a year ago, my little girl was interested, then went through a phase where she wasn’t, and now loves these fun pirates all over again! Sometimes she asks to watch her “pirate show” at the most inconvenient times – like the late afternoon when she is winding down from a long day of playdates and Play Doh. I was hoping that Disney would come out with a 24-hour Disney Junior channel so that my toddler can watch her favorite vibrant characters at any given time throughout the day. Disney is answering my wishes, as they will launch their brand new 24 hour Disney Junior channel early in 2012!! I’m not sure who will be more excited about this – my toddler or myself!
If your child loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates as much as mine does, then you might be excited to hear that there will be a special holiday episode airing Friday, December 2 from 8:30-9am EST/PST titled, “It’s A Winter Never Land!/Hook On Ice.” I’ve already viewed a special preview with my toddler, but I’m not going to dish on how awesome it is – you will have to find out for yourself!
Fun Facts about Jake and the Neverland Pirates…
Since its launch this past February, Disney Junior continues to grow and break all previous records for Disney Channel’s preschool programming! Anchored by hit series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, cable’s #1 series for Boys 2-5 since its launch and on track to be Disney Channel’s #1 preschool series ever, Disney Junior continues to soar. The show currently is among one of the most co-viewed preschool series, with 45% of moms watching with their preschooler.
A music-filled interactive treasure hunt, Jake and the Never Land Pirates introduces a crew of kid pirates – leader Jake and pals Izzy and Cubby – and follows their Never Land adventures as they work to outwit two infamous characters, the one and only Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, from Disney’s classic “Peter Pan.” Along the way, they model teamwork, problem-solving and physical activity, earning gold doubloons as they conquer a variety of tasks. The series features original “pirate rock” music performed by Sharky and Bones of The Never Land Pirate Band.

Yo Ho, my daughter’s simply hooked on that show! I keep singing the theme song in my head.
I can not find and birthday party packs with the Jake and The Never Land Pirates. Does anyone know of a website?????
I would say to just go with a general “pirate” theme and add in Jake and the Neverland pirates to other things, such as the cake or maybe a few printed pictures or goodie bags.
I just found some invitations, dinner and dessert plates, napkins and plastic cups at Wal-Mart. If you like buying that sort of stuff.
