These last few weeks of winter were a doozy. The temperatures in NYC fluctuated between depth of winter and hello spring. Each morning would start off terribly cold and end with top layers coming off and sitting in t-shirts comfortably. Then, on the first day of spring we are hit with- yeaup, you guessed it- SNOW. If that happens and it’s freezing and your boiler breaks, it’s so important you get emergency heater repair as soon as possible to avoid you becoming sick.
I was already prepared for whatever the weatherman predicted, even if it meant my snow boots would stay within arms reach a little longer. I was happy to try out my new Lugz Tambora boots which features cozy fur throughout the inside and folded over the top of the grey boot. The outer rubber is thick and water resistant, making it a great boot for cold weather, rain, and snow. The boot comes in a variety of colors, but after assessing my mainly-black wardrobe I settled for this gorgeous grey color!

I read a few reviews that suggested getting half a size bigger and also mentioned that different colors may be sized differently. I’m generally a size 8, but factoring in a thicker sock for the winter and based on others’ opinions, I went up half a size and the boots fit me perfectly.
I love that the Tambora boots are stylish and functional. It’s just what I need on snowy or rainy days-whether I’m pairing them with leggings, sweats, or jeans. They really do go with anything I wear! Get yours at Lugz!
I love Lugz boots and I have these. There are more of their brand this past year I like even better, my complaint about Lugz is I can’t wear them out to have an excuse to get new ones. They last and last! We had snow a few days ago, so I haven’t really put them away yet for the winter, but haven’t had to wear them too often lately.
