If you’ve been following me for a while, then you may have already been introduced to Phoebe, my 15 year old kitty. Phoebe doesn’t actually live with me, but that’s her choice. When I got married and moved out of my moms house, we decided it was best to keep Phoebe in the home she had grown up in, or the house she rules. You see, Phoebe, like most cats, has a big personality. She’s learned how to work her family members to get what she expects. Buy the wrong food? She won’t eat it. Insult her with a pet toy? She won’t play with it. Not clean her little box quick enough? Watch out. She’s been known to go on a little box strike. She is quite the clean freak, and I’ve always joked with her vet about her having OCD tendencies, which he doesn’t disagree with. Phoebe can be spotted licking herself clean for 30 minutes at any given time. If you interrupt her and touch her while she is cleaning herself, she will start over. She’s made it very clear, she likes to be clean.
My brother in law has 2 cats and this would be great for him to try.
