Even though I had to work full time as a teacher when I had my daughter, I still opted to make her homemade baby food. I know you may be thinking with all the great options, including organic jarred foods, why would I even want to take all that time to make homemade baby food on my already limited time. Although I always had jarred food on hand for outings, I felt that homemade baby food would give my daughter a taste for REAL foods, including flavors that were used while cooking. I would adjust the consistency to her preference, as she didn’t like her food completely pureed. Making my own baby food gave me a lot more options than just purchasing ready made jarred foods.
I was always in search for some type of “kit” when I was making baby food for my daughter. I never found what I was looking for but I still managed to make it work. Next time around, I know I can rely on Sage Spoonfuls. This baby-food making kit comes with everything you need to get started and store all your homemade baby food. Depending on your needs, Sage Spoonfuls has put together various packages that include storage jars, labels, a cooler bag with a freezer pack, storage tray, food processor and immersion blender, and a recipe book. The kits vary as far as how many jars you get and whether or not you are need an 0n-the-go tote. You can even purchase items individually if you have a blender or other items in the kit.
Why I love Sage Spoonfuls: all their items are BPA free, easy to use, easy to clean, and includes everything you will need to get started making your own baby food. The people over at Sage Spoonfuls really took their time putting this kit together to create a complete set for all your baby food jarring needs. I especially love the on-the-go tote for weekend getaways.
You can find out more information about Sage Spoonfuls Kits on their site. Make sure you connect with Sage Spoonfuls on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on their latest news and promotions.

I made my own baby food for my 3 other children. The only bad part was that I had to get a seperate blender for their stuff; this would be perferct for upcoming baby # 4 🙂
