Summer is just around the corner and it’s not too early to start getting prepared. My two oldest kids are learning to swim and have ditched their floatation devices now that they are comfortable in the water. Being a non-swimmer, having my kids comfortable in the water and truly enjoying their time this summer without fear is important to me. The 5th annual National Learn to Swim Day is this Saturday, 5/21, and while we can’t celebrate in the water just yet, we can share our experiences with SwimWays and how they have helped my kids get comfortable in the water so they can learn to swim on their own.
It all started with the SwimWays Baby Spring Float. My girls were both introduced to the water with the Baby Spring Float, and this year my little guy will follow suit. The SwimWay Baby Spring Float is a great way to get baby accustomed to the water and splash around freely. Of course, you should never leave baby unattended while in the water, even if they are in a floatation device.
Did you know that SwimWays is a leader in helping children learn to swim? We followed the SwimWays program for a few summers and while I’m happy that my girls can now swim without the help of swim aides, I love that there was a “system” with ability-appropriate products to not only make learning to swim safe, but also fun. National Learn to Swim Day is about educating parents about water safety and the benefits of learning to swim. Find out more about SwimWays and their initiatives by visiting them on the web. You can also connect with them on their social media platforms on Twitter and Facebook.
SwimWays products are available for purchase at Toys R Us.

I love SwimWays products! They are well-made and last forever. I have used them with my kids every summer.
