I know we aren’t even out of July yet but it’s not too soon to start thinking of everything your little ones will need for back to school. After a later afternoon mingle with the ladies ofMomTrends, I got to chat with brands about easing into that back to school moment without too much drama.
The first item I already use and love- Mabels Labels. I used these when I was a teacher in order to keep track of my items and ensure my stapler would always make it back into my possession. Think Office Space and you will get an idea of how a teacher feels when she’s separated from her stapler! These waterproof labels stand up to a lot, and with their expanded product line Mabel’s Labels has just what you need to keep you organized. Make sure to label your child’s lunch bag, water bottle, shoes, jackets and more!
Brand new shoes are the epitome of back to school. My mom would always get me a new pair of sneakers as a fresh new start to the school year. She swore (and still does) by Stride Rite shoes. They have always been known to support a growing foot and now they have adorable new styles that will match any outfit. I love the whole Stride Rite experience when we head to the store for a fitting. The friendly staff makes your child feel at ease as they measure their feet and pick out the perfect pair. Check out the new lineup!

Now, the next topic I don’t really want to talk about because it totally grosses me out, but with two little princesses who have long hair, head lice is a real fear around here. I never had to treat my children for lice, but I have heard horror stories. Thankfully Vamouse provides all natural relief from head lice, and as a mom who doesn’t like chemicals near my kids, I will keep this information on the back burner. I hope I never have to use it, but if I do I know I can find them at Walmart, drugstore, and amazon.

One thing that keeps us organized throughout the school year is a large wall calendar. Peel & stick, write & erase, there’s no limits to this awesome wall calendar concept. I think it’s great for the classroom too! Wall Pops makes it easy to stay organized, plus they have some super cute wall decals for kids. Check them out at Wall Pops!
A few weeks ago I actually tried out Revolution Foods, so I was excited to see them at the event! As much as we try to keep our kids’ diets safe and natural, convenience meals are still necessary on some days. Revolutions Foods makes it easy to make the “healthy” choice with their all natural meal kits for kids. My girls loved putting their own meals together, and I loved that they didn’t contain chemicals. You can find Revolution Foods at Target and Whole Foods.

When it comes to back to school fashion, Lands End, Carters, and French Toast have you covered. I love to shop through their sales and stock up on essentials for throughout the school year. Since kids can grow up to 2 inches during the school year, it is helpful when clothing can grow with them, like an adjustable inner waistband or ankle cuffs that can be let out a bit as they grow. Don’t forget the backback and lunch box! Vera Bradley keeps your kids stylish with some amazing accessories and they have fun, vibrant colors that kids (and moms) just love! While you are shopping at Vera Bradley for back to school essentials, be sure to pick something up for you too! It’s always nice to spoil yourself a little with a nice new bag.
