Nearly 2 years ago I chopped off a good amount of my hair. I found the post-pregnancy hair shedding to be excessive and I thought cutting my hair short would help ease the stress from watching all that hair pile up in the drain. A few months later I went back to my hairdresser and complained that I wish I had my long hair back. She suggested I take Biotin and felt that it “really worked” to build stronger, healthier hair and nails. I didn’t try it at the time because I was nursing and didn’t want to add anything else to my diet, but in the past 2 years I have continually seen commercials and advice columns about Biotin.
Since I am a faithful Puritan’s Pride customer, I decided to start my research there. They have so many products for various needs, and I have been using their products for about 10 years. They offered to send me some products to try out, including their Hair, Skin, & Nails Once per Day Formula, which contains Biotin and other nutrients that may help grow healthy nails and hair.
Other products they sent for overall skin health was Hydrolyzed Collagen, Organic Doctor Vitamin E Super Hydrating Cream, and a Vitamin E Moisturizing Stick. Since my hubby has severely dry skin, he tried out the Organic Doctor Vitamin E cream. We have both tried other Vitamin E creams before, but I can tell you they aren’t all created equal. This specific cream doesn’t contain SLS, Parabens, Artificial colors, Phthalates or Harsh preservatives and contains organic, natural ingredients. This soothing cream can be used for anything from battling harsh winter skin to soothing sunburned skin.
