Since my first born was a toddler, I’ve been making candyless Easter baskets for her and all the kids we make Easter baskets for. I find the kids actually enjoy receiving spring-themed toys over candy, and we don’t have to worry about them trying to devour every piece of chocolate they receive in one shot!
This year we had a few companies reach out to us to feature their awesome Easter basket-worthy toys. From bubbles to swimwear, the options for Easter baskets are endless and can work with any size budget. My own personal tip for Easter basket stuffing is to purchase all the summer gear you would have purchased anyway – two birds, one stone! My kids receive their their summer wardrobe consisting of swim suits, cover ups, summer shoes, and even a bottle of sunscreen in their baskets. Everything is is a bonus, like these fun Magformers kits. Here’s a bit about them-

For my older girls, toys are a bit tricky, but arts and crafts are great for just about any age. Both my girls, ages 6 and 9 love bracelet making, clay creating, drawing, painting – you name it! I find that crafts is a relaxing activity for them. The smART sketcher Projector is a great way for children to transform personal pictures into their own creations. Check out all the details-
The smART sketcher projector allows children and adults to transform photos taken from their smart devices into a sketch. By using the free smART sketcher app, photos are filtered and transferred via Bluetooth to the projector. Instantly users will see their desired image projected onto paper. The smART sketcher also comes with pre-loaded micro SD cards that are filled with a variety of activities including step-by-step drawings, learn-to-write letters and numbers, and more. Available at major retailers in store and online for $59.95 and recommended for kids 5 and up.
One thing that makes its way into all our Easter baskets are bubbles. Who doesn’t love bubbles? I think you can never have too many because they are the number one thing used by all kids. Zing has found a way to make old toys new and interesting again with their bubble kits. The Glove-A-Bubbles by Zing was last year’s Summer Toy of the Year, which speaks volumes about why you might want to include this in your Easter Baskets! Check out all the details for their latest summer lineups-

- Wave-A-Bubbles: Double the bubbles for double the fun! Put on the glove, dip and wave for endless amounts of bubbles. Available in 4 different characters –mermaid, dino, bird and frog.

Along with all these options, some more budget-friendly inclusions can be books, blind bags, and sidewalk chalk to give the basket some volume. These items can be found at the dollar spot in Target and make your baskets look full alongside the included toys and clothing.
