It’s not often that you hear me complain about my cell phone plan because I think I have great service, but my biggest issue with my cell phone provider is the amount I pay each month, as well as the lengthy contract. I happen to have a plan that is not unlimited, and since I use my cell phone as a house phone, I really should have that option. My hubby and I decided to get a family share plan, and thought we had our own allotment of minutes. What we didn’t know was that the amount of minutes in the plan was SHARED and not for each individual line. You can imagine the frustrations when we received that first bill after we set up this plan. I think the neighbors may have even heard us taking our frustrations out on the poor customer service rep we spoke with immediately after.
There are so many mobile companies out there, there really isn’t a reason for us to stay with our provider- except that my hubby is a creature of habit and won’t switch just yet. I recently found out about a new cell phone provider, but they are still in Beta mode. They have an opportunity to join before the program is open to the public and even offer 80% off the cost of new smartphones, as well as $200 in account credits while in Beta. They state that you can save about $800-$2000 a year or more per family on cell phone service.
The best part? Just by stumbling upon this blog post, you are eligible to check out the program as well! Just click this link to find out more information and to see if this service is right for you. You have nothing to lose! My favorite feature is that you can build your own plan, depending out your needs and how many people are in your family. With their highest plan at $65, this is already a better value than my current provider!

If you use a lot of data (like I do, more so than talking or texting), this isn’t such a great deal. I pay $30 for 300 minutes, unlimited text and data with a prepaid plan. I get 4G for the first 2.5 GB of data too…..

You can’t go wrong with saving money, and I agree, so many people simply don’t switch companies out of fear.

We’ve been looking into some alternative plans lately because while our costs are decent, our provider has poor coverage where we live & other plans cost way more.

I get unlimited and I’m afraid to change a thing because they’ll take it away!
