Although I have veneers on my upper teeth I was very excited to hear about Colgate’s new Optic White line of products. My veneers will never whiten, but my lower teeth have yellowed a bit over the years with the help of my love of coffee and tea. My husband was excited about the products as well so we both participated in a 5 day trial.
When I received the Colgate Optic White products, I could tell that both the toothpaste and mouthwash contain Hydrogen Peroxide, for effectively whitening teeth, protecting against future stains, and killing bad -breath germs. In addition, in the toothpaste the Hydrogen Peroxide is paired with the highest amount of fluoride available over the counter – 1,500ppm MFP – to help fortify and whiten teeth.
I used the products for five days and believe there was a difference. The easy regimen helps users achieve a smile that is 1 shade whiter in just 5 days. My husband wasn’t as dedicated as I was…but then again I think old habits die hard and he kept forgetting to use the new products which I clearly left out on the counter-top so he wouldn’t forget!

I really like Colgate but I have never tried the Optic white. I’ll have to look for it next time I’m at the store.

I really need to try that. I am a coffee drinker and my teeth have started to yellow, and I hate that!
I love teeth whitening toothpastes…unfortunately they won’t work on my two front teeth b/c they are veneers from a wreck
