It took longer than expected but winter is hitting us suddenly and hard this week. The temperatures drastically dropped immediately following the holidays and we have a snow storm headed our way this weekend. When it comes to keeping the kids warm and comfortable on the way to school, it’s all about the proper clothing and accessories. While snow boots may be necessary once that snowstorm hits us, they are impractical for school. Clunky snow boots just don’t make the cut and cozy tall boots for kids are a must.
KEEN footwear is a company we discovered shortly after my second daughter was born. I love a cute shoe any day (and so does my fashionista) but my priority is comfort and support. My kids spend upwards of 8 hours in their shoes everyday, as do most kids, so they must be comfortable!
My daughter chose the Rachel Boot to try out from KEEN Kids. The brown and pink design are a great match for most items in her wardrobe, whether she is pairing her Rachel boots with a dress, a pair of leggings, or jeans. They are stylish, warm, and according to her- “super cozy!”
My little guy doesn’t know it yet, but he needs warm shoes even though he’s not walking yet. Every morning he comes along for two drop offs and two pick ups. Keeping him warm wasn’t too hard, but I often found his toes still cold after swaddling, bundling, and bunting. A pair of fur-lined boots for baby is just what we needed, and of course, KEEN came to the rescue with their Kootenay WP boot. How cute are these!? They are stylish, little-man-ly, and so warm. The bottoms of the Kootenay are solid and have a great grip- so once he starts walking these will offer him the support he needs.
Check out KEEN for more footwear styles. They have something for everyone in the family, including adults!
These are really cute and I think they are great for wearing with jeans. I like jeans and boots for little kids. Thanks.
Oh those are so cute for the kids! Would love to get a pair for our little one!
