While I was breastfeeding my first baby, my daughter’s pediatrician told me that as long as I was taking my prenatal vitamin, I did not need to give her additional vitamins. He also mentioned that since she is breastfed, she should be on a Vitamin D supplement. With baby #2, I was a bit more concerned about her vitamin intake because she is a finicky eater and does not nurse as often as my first baby did. Last week, her pediatrician prescribed an infants multivitamin. Although I trust his judgement, I know that not all vitamin supplements are created equal, and decided to research the best multivitamin for infants. My experience with the multivitamin he recommended was not good. I had used it for my toddler and after the first taste, she refused to take it. I tried everything I could to get that vitamin in her- I hid it in foods, she wouldn’t eat. I hid it in her milk, she wouldn’t drink. I bribed her, even asked the pharmacist to use flavors to make it more palatable. Nothing worked.
So, now I found the vitamin I thought would be best for my infant which came in a powder form. I placed it in some fruits and sure enough, she hated it! There had to be a better way to get vitamins in my kids! Even if I mixed vitamins in food, what happens when they don’t eat all their food or drink all their milk? How do I know how much of the dosage they received?
Did you know that if you breastfeed, your milk will only provide your baby with about 10% of their daily recommendation of Vitamin D? Since most breastfed infants are lacking in Vitamin D, the people over at Baby Ddrops made it easy to get the essential vitamin INTO your baby! They created an odorless, colorless, tasteless liquid that is so concentrated, you only need one drop. That’s right- I said ONE drop! I simply place it on my daughter’s pacifier and that’s it! She get’s her full daily dose in that one drop! Baby Ddrops are preservative free, sugar free, soy free and completely pure!
What I want to know is why aren’t ALL vitamins made this way?!? You can purchase Baby Ddrops from Amazon and find out more information at Ddrops. That’s such a clever and convenient way to give your baby a vitamin. Now if only someone would develop medicine to work like that!

We just started using these. After reading horror stories online, I tasted them before I gave them. I must have bought the “good” ones because they weren’t nasty!

With my son the pediatrician gave him a multivitamin drop with fluoride. 2 years later with my daughter and different pediatrician there are no fluoride drops at all. The pediatric dentist said fluoride drops are a no no actually if your water is already fluoridated. My son is three now and loves chewable vitamins though! He asks for his “medicine” lol

I’m breastfeeding my 3 month old now and giving him the other major brand and he hates them so it would be GREAT if i could only give him ONE drop !
