Woah. This year sure did fly by quickly. That’s what happens when you have a new baby. One minute you are begging to whatever birthing goddess you believe in to relieve you of the insomnia, bloating, and general discomfort of being 40 weeks pregnant by delivering a healthy baby, and the next minute you are planning a first birthday party. With my third baby I swore I would savor every second. Every minute. I would hold him and cuddle as much as I could. I even enjoyed waking up in the middle of the night because that was our special time together while everyone else was sleeping. I nursed him, and still am, but I’m looking towards the next step in his nutrition- toddler drinks.
His one year appointment is coming up where his pediatrician and I will discuss the next steps in his nutrition. By now he should be eating more solids, but he’s so addicted to nursing and I’m ready to drop a few feedings from our routine. There are quite a few nutritional drinks for toddlers it can be daunting when you are looking for the right fit. Our pediatrician recommended Good Start for supplementing, so naturally transitioning to the stage 3 Gerber Good Start Grow seems like something he would gravitate toward. Not all toddlers have the same nutritional needs, so it’s always best to discuss your concerns and new routine with your pediatrician.
Gerber Good Start Grow is available at Target, Babies R Us, and other retailers that sell formula.
