FINALLY saw The Lorax!

My toddler begged all winter to see The Lorax in theaters, but with our busy schedule and my ever growing prego belly, I didn’t get a chance to take her. What they say is true: children never forget, and she asked to see it each time she saw a sticker, commercial, or truffula tree – because now she thinks truffula trees grow on the side of the Long Island Expressway.

Well, we FINALLY saw The Lorax on BluRay today! My toddler was very excited to receive her very own BluRay copy that we were able to watch in the comfort of our home. Movie theaters don’t pause for potty breaks, so our favorite place to watch movies is definitely at home! We had a great family movie night and even my hubby was interested in watching The Lorax.

We already knew that The Lorax had a very powerful message, and we read the book, so we knew what to expect. I’m not sure how much a 3 year old would understand about the environment and saving the trees, but hopefully one day something will strike a memory in her head about the movie and everything will click. Until then we get to watch the movie over and over – if you have a toddler, then you know how quickly great movies can become annoying 🙂
