Everyone that knows me online and offline knows that I love my coffee. I’m not a “give me any type of coffee” person either; it’s got to be a perfect roast, at the right temperature. The way I take my coffee varies by the minute, and always reflects how I feel. The spunky, energetic, comfortable “me” loves a good iced coffee with a hint of sugar and milk. The cold-weather “me” that needs comfort likes a piping hot coffee with a few splashes of milk, a bit of sugar, a dash of cinnamon and a touch of vanilla. Who says you need a coffeehouse when you have all the ingredients in your cabinet? When I want something a little “more” there’s the new Nescafe Dolce Gusto Genio. When we met, it was love at first cup. There was an immediate response to the quick setup and smooth flavors of the coffee. The ability to froth milk in one easy step and create the perfect coffehouse-worthy cup of coffee is incredible. Can you tell? I LOVE this machine. From Caramel Machiatos to the perfect hot cocoa, this machine does it all. I have to add that the hot cocoa is not your ordinary run of the milk hot cocoa. It tastes like my mom’s hot cocoa with real cocoa, milk and sugar. Nothing better on a cold day!

The Nescafe Dolce Gusto can be shut off after each use and takes just seconds to warm up once turned on. It requires very little counter space, about 1/4 of the space that other single cup coffee makers take up. There is a variety of coffee flavors for every mood, including “skinny” varieties which eliminate sugar. My favorite flavor so far is a tough one. The Dolce Gusto makes a Chai Tea Latte that is nothing short of amazing, but when I need a caffeine boost I always reach for the skinny coffee macchiato.   121. The product description for their Espresso says “say hello to your wake up call in a cup.”
    This sounds perfect for me as I can then sip it as is, ice it, blend it up, or even use it in a recipe.
    These machines are so efficient and fast, streamlined and modern. Much better than the old brew crew.
    They have one with a pop graphic ala Lichtenstein.
