I didn’t have to tell Riu much before she went to work on my problem areas. Suffering from SPD – Symphisis Pubis Dysfunction, which basically means my pelvic bone has separated causing excruciating pain with movement, I didn’t think there was much she could do about that. I was only hoping she would settle my angry sciatic nerve that just added to the daily pregnancy pains I was dealing with. An hour went by and when I walked out of Massage Envy I was already feeling some relief. By the time I got home, my husband was impressed that I was able to walk normally- something I haven’t done since the 4th month of pregnancy. As the day progressed and I got a good night’s sleep, I woke up with considerably less pain than the day before.
