If you have been following me on my cloth diaper adventure, then you know that one of the first diapers I reviewed was GoGreen Pocket Diapers. I fell in love with the shape, fit, and design of these diapers – plus the price tag is VERY reasonable for cloth. GoGreen came up with a new design for their diapers called The Champ which is a one size pocket diaper. You know what that means, right? You can use them from birth to potty training – so you get the most bang for your buck when you go with one size cloth diapers.
One thing I dislike about pocket diapers (and also the reason I use pocket diapers as covers instead) is reaching into the pocket and pulling out the soiled insert. YUCK. I should be use to it by now, but there are certain things I just can’t do- and that it one of them. The Champ features a unique design where the inserts come out by themselves in the wash! No removal necessary!
Since I usually use my pocket diapers as All in Twos anyway, I think the people over at GoGreen had me in mind when they added a snap to the diaper and the insert, so that I can use the diaper as a cover instead. This added snap keeps the liner in place while my little girl climbs and tumbles.
It’s all about the Gussets baby! What is a diaper without gussets? A leaky mess! I do not buy any diapers that do not have gussets because gussets help contain the mess. Not only does The Champ feature gussets, but they have DUAL Gussets! This is my kind of diaper for sure! At only around $15 a pop, you are sure to get your dollar’s worth with these diapers. Each diaper comes with an insert and you can start your own diaper stash with very little $$! (Don’t forget that you can use these same diapers for babies from birth to potty training!)
