I am all about the online shopping. Before I was a mommy, I hated department store shopping, and now more than ever – online shopping really helps minimize tantrums in the middle of a toy store while people are watching the bad mommy walk out with a screaming child who didn’t get her way. Again. When you shop online, everything is at your fingertips. You can browse, search, compare, and look up reviews for anything you are looking for. Most online retailers offer free shipping, so you really have NOTHING to lose by shopping online. This summer the number one thing on our toy list are toys for travel.
There are a lot of children in my family so I am always ordering baby toys. When I find something I really like online, I order it and place it in my “gift closet” (Tori Spelling had a gift wrapping room, so what’s so bad about a closet?)
eBeanstalk is my kind of toy store! Their site is easy to navigate, even for people like my mother in law who is still finding her way around the internet. Once you are on their site, you will notice that their toys are categorized by age, gender, and bestsellers. PERFECT. So if you are looking for toys for a 1 year old you can easily find what you are looking for. If you are looking for a specific brand or item, you can easy search for that too! Now, I’m not going to bash bigger online toy retailers, but I find eBeanstalk easiest to navigate because they don’t have too much going on on the main page. Oh my gosh, I’m going to that site right now. I bought my daughter a unicorn pillow pet, which she loved until she saw a TV commercial for another brand of pillow pet that comes with its own castle. So now she will not stop saying, “I wish my unicorn had a castle…” 😛
