It has been SO cold here in NYC, and going to the park or even just getting out of the house for a walk is not on my to-do list these days. Keeping my toddler busy is a challenge during the harsh winter, and finding things to do around the house is a must! Last year I set up a craft table for her, and purchased many craft kits to keep her busy. She loves doing crafts, and having a wide variety of crafts keeps it interesting for her.
I would love to be crafty enough to find things around my house and turn them into a project with my toddler, but I’m not that creative and wouldn’t even know where to begin. The people over at Green Kid Crafts had moms like me in mind, when they created their earth-friendly craft activities. Each craft is individually packaged with all you need to complete the craft. I love that it comes with everything, including directions on how to complete the craft and pictures of what it should look like. My toddler was excited to try the Coral Reef postcard craft and it only took a minute to read through the directions and set everything up. I don’t know who thinks of these things, but they are genius! We used paints in ways we’ve never used them before, which gave me ideas for future projects.
